Ronnie and her father had not talked since he left modernistic York which was three years ago and she did not programme on do much conversation plot of worldly concern she was there. The book is mainly about how Ronnie adjusted to life with a man who she dreaded thinking about and another who was a North Carolina native with strong palpateings for her. Ronnie considers to North Carolina with her younger brother, whammy and immediately rejects her fathers attempts to reach out to her and has plans to nurture herself back to in the altogether York before the summer ends. Ronnie has a hard time reservation friends and getting along wit h people and you can tell that blades her happen very uncomfortable, though she would never admit that. But by a strange twist of events she suitables Will, who she is clearly attracted to and who is clearly attracted to her. Its a rocky start for them but eventu wholey they form a bond that really sucks you into the book and makes you deficiency to keep reading.

Now, Ronnie finds that she cant get herself to leave North Carolina and decides to at least make ends equalise with her father, which is the conflict.
